One of the things I love about my @prudenceandthecrow.bsky.social subscription is the little fabric sleeves the books come in. Because the books get shelved the sleeves are essentially a very slow fat quarter subscription, and have so far been incorporated into cushions, a dog bed, and much more

Lots of people commenting about the number of anchors on the branding for this year's #LDConf. the anchors made sense to me because we're at the seaside. Far fewer people commenting on the large number of satanic crosses...

An addition to the badges on the strap of my conference bag this #LDConf: @acmcgregor.bsky.social gave me the Freddy Kruegar one. The other one that needs explanation is the minion: @nickdacosta.bsky.social & @fgraham.co.uk also have these because we're apparently @markpackuk.bsky.social's minions

From top to bottom, the badges are:

Made this to reply to somebody who was saying that their kid didn't get ADHD meds for years because of all the ppl "with very mild symptoms indeed" who "just wanted more time in exams" ahead of his kid in the queue, because OBVIOUSLY the problem there is the other kids who suffer, not the system 🙄

I bought 4 at once: (I'd had a record player for a good 8 or 9 years by the time I got a stereo that could play CDs and I knew what music I liked. I got these in a French hypermarket on the way home from a school trip to Switzerland with the spending money I hadn't spent in Switzerland)
