I saw this sign at a street fair a couple weeks ago and it made me want a hot dog more than a thousand of those dumb AI-slop restaurant ads you’re starting to see crop up in places
A giant sandwich board on the sidewalk with a gloriously generic image of a very Generalized Hot Dog on a nice bun. The text declares “HOT DOGS” across the top. There’s a mention of “Chili Cheese” at the bottom. That’s it. Whole sign. Hot dog looks pretty good.

Grimace in sunglasses looking cool as the other side of the pillow is poised at the open door of what looks like a corvette-like kit car. Xe(Grimace is non binary) has a full purple shake that rests on the roof of the sports car. There is a purple gel over the image. A low mist clings to the ground. Is this a dream? Or has this mythical badass been conjured? The song “I need a hero” is most likely blazing on xir am/fm radio.

My last four watched on Letterboxd. The Mastermind (5 stars), I Saw the TV Glow (4.5 stars), Caged Fury (2.5 stars), The Odyssey (4 stars). I pretty much just post about movies now, so no surprises here. Except Caged Fury, which is pretty good as dumb noisy women in prison flicks go.
