Within my niche of experience, I honestly don't care for Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo. The audio and animation are great but it's the weakest in puzzle design for the fact that there's zero alternate paths. Even it's immediate predecessor Freddi Fish 1 had randomized locations for its macguffins!

In Super Mario All-Stars, getting hit by Mouser's bomb exactly 64 frames after defeating him will make the player character assume a unique pink and blue color scheme. The colors will remain for as long as the player stays in the room.

In the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 2, if Mouser is defeated and then the player character is hit by a bomb exactly 64 frames later while having exactly 2 health remaining...
...a glitch will occur whereby the player character's palette will change to pink and blue after Mouser's death animation.
This works for all characters. Below are their special palettes.
The colors will remain as long as the character stays in this room and does not perform a charge jump.

Scene from Pajama Sam 3 where Sam has to hop between walnut shells floating in orbit around Granny Smythe. The timing needed in order to hop between them is narrow and precise enough to warrant frustration for anyone in the game's target demographic with less than fully developed motor skills, such as me when I was five years old.

It feels like the "third shaker at the dinner table" which disappeared by the end of the 19th century that nobody alive knows the contents of would be fertile ground for comedy in period pieces and time travel stories but I've not heard of a single instance of it yet.
