been doing a lot of gpui work (rust gui framework from the zed folks) and i still haven't quite found the sweet spot for frameworks that look nice and are also like, super performant it's also just quite the departure, coming from the web world. lots of stuff to figure out that i take for granted

BRT will hopefully be better on some of those points as we (should) get dedicated lanes and signal priority. But I do not have a lot of faith in Metro One of my earliest memories is my mom taking me from Shrewsbury -> Lacledes on the train, its truly magical and I hope to do that with my son also 😄

i do think the green line would have been really neat as a rail project but also, it's a financially prudent move to swap it to BRT, and I think it's going to be a lot more effective on average transit funding is so hard in the US, and esp in Missouri, that the deck is really stacked against us

We're getting a proven scorer in Navarro, Downs is depth, non obligational since its a loan, and has big upside. He's only 22, so if he returns to form under us, we're going to benefit greatly And if he doesn't? Better depth than McSorley/Ault, which is great I'm a fan of this one
