Today I have to go have a surgical procedure (wide local excision) to get part of my leg cut out. This time I don’t have melanoma so it’s more precautionary. I’m hoping it’s a smaller scar than last time. Wear your sunscreen. And maybe don’t let your kids spend the entire summer in the pool.

A recent book I had this feeling about is Ocean’s Echo by Everina Maxwell. Her 2nd book & a delight 🚀💚 (Because I’m the kind of nerd who usually reads things in order, I have to note her first book is technically set in the same universe, but each stands on its own & I would def read OE first.)
