Agita Magazine opens for submissions on October 17 for issue 3: ekphrasis. Ekphrasis is the verbal representation of a work of visual art. Weird fiction is a verbal representation of the world, in order to unsettle it. Send us stories at the intersection. Guidelines at agitamag.com/submissions

I was just reading up on scene separators. An asterisk/bullet point is a dinkus, a floral one is a fleuron, and any other fancy one is a dingbat (1920s slang for a whatchamacallit). The Langdon Home for Malevolent Livestock collection will use tiny animals that change base on who's in the story!
A screenshot of text featuring a scene separator that consists of tiny farm animals. From left to right, they are: a ram, a pig, a sheep, and a goat.

It’s football season. I don’t care about sports but there was a weird CGI robot that’d come on the TV screen sometimes during games, and my uncle, who we lost this year once said “I hate that fucking robot” which entertained me. So football makes me think of him. 💜 Lived in Boulder/loved the Broncos

I was cleaning a shelf and found my really cool bracelet (the bottom one) that‘d been missing for a few weeks. I traded a book for it at a local event I tabled at this summer. I think she said it was hematite. I don’t know about these things tbh but I’m glad it’s not lost
A picture of my arm with a watch band, a dark green beaded bracelet, and another one that has kind of a metallic dark greenish goldish rainbow-y look to it. Almost like an oil slick rainbow.
