today he puked on my mostly completed bodice so he has gone from asshole to shithead (I'm not actually upset, it's not his fault he has tummy troubles and it went through the wash just fine, but still. shithead.)

Yeah wooooo fucked up the transfer on my cape so it looks all weird and crinkly Lessons have been learned and I don't have to look at the cape back so I'll survive but I am a little bummed

Love how I constantly bounce between "maybe this'll be the last year I cosplay, I'm so tired bro" and "just wait until I have an embroidery machine big enough to make this thing happen"

might narrow down my OC-posting to the two of them + Kidai...use it as a means to actually play through XIV from another wol's perspective, actually do RP stuff with one or both of them...hm

this turned into "let's take the other bun you created whose design wasn't distinct enough and make her Nox's twin/PR manager because the Warrior of Light is actually a huge dick"

Kidai's immediately ending his adventuring life and becoming a recluse who only interacts with his children and close friends. It's not what his husbands would want, but that's their fault for not being there to stop him.

doll I purchased on a whim has been solidifying character-wise and therefore I must create him in viddy game and give him a name beyond "long long dragon" I guess

Kidai actually took it up as a hobby at some point after the Beehive custom deliveries! it's good exercise and he looks good doing it, even if his only audience are good husbands his song of choice is "Weak and Powerless" by A Perfect Circle and he doesn't care that it's the completely wrong vibe

oomf's post has me thinking, time to bring back an old #wolqotd can your wol/OC pole dance? if yes, would they? what song are they performing to?

everyone should play reaper for drusilla right now. there really is not another character like her in the whole game, she's extremely solidly written and gets to be an incredibly rare vividly aged woman who also gets to occupy a role not usually given to women at all

got tired of not being able to picture Kidai in other games and asked @verdandi.bsky.social to turn my lizard not into a not-lizard, ty forever Verd for absolutely nailing his vibe every single time I will be printing these to keep on hand and shove into people's faces like I'm maes hughes

A full-body reference sheet of Kidai, a tanned Asian man with red hair and purple contacts. He's wearing an elaborate ouji lolita-styled outfit, with detailed close-ups of several pieces and his color scheme arranged around front and back views of his design.

A second reference image of Kidai, this one of armor styled like a Mongolian deel and a waist wrap of lamellar plate. Atop the robe is a fur-lined cape reaching the shins. Overlapping lamellar plates go from the collar of the cape to the mid-shoulder. On his feet are traditional gutal. Detailed close-ups of the outfit and Kidai's twin braid hairstyle make up the right side of the image.

All gear comes with a fashion stat, but the meta is obviously to wear your ass-kicking outfit. Taking the stat loss to look cute for X number of fights makes Kidai show up to join "the only other people in this world with any kind of fashion sense."
