I just want to express my full empathy and incredulousness at the state of the world. I have been applying to job after job after job. I have 20+ years of experience and so far offers have been a paycut of more than half my salary - paying less than I made in 2005! Who can live like this?

I just saw a large spider and I wish I had a recording device running bc I could have sold that blood curdling scream to every Hollywood studio. I don’t even mind spiders but this one was huge & was in my hands (on something I picked up). Now I can’t find it so it will haunt me for all time.
