So I will say my husband very nearly didn’t vote in part bc he couldn’t fathom that Trump had any chance at winning and bc he is one of those - both sides are the same and the system is broken people. He did vote bc I strong-armed him but he def speaks to that mindset.

He was black. He had been trading off and taking turns with my son which seemed to not be an issue, at least not enough to make a stink. I also hated that they said this to the kid and not the parent. The guys running this as volunteering but come on now, I’m sure they have spares.

Also this - our county provides a “free” winter little league clinic. I signed my son up as it seemed like a great way to ease in but the kids have to provide all their own equipment. One little boy was told if he didn’t have his own helmet, bat, glove, etc next time he couldn’t return.

That’s not what I’ve read from the post analyses. The shift in Latino men and white women further. I unfortunately know a fair number of Biden voters who actively voted for Trump bc of internalized misogyny and racism. Many quoting things like “she slept her way” to her position.

The intent behind your post is well taken but also they lost bc they were women. A man with their experience, background, and policy positions would have won. Most who didn’t vote for them care abt nor understand international relations. If they did they wouldn’t have voted for Trump.

The way he summarized this is exactly the point. It doesn’t matter your politics or whether those kids were legal or not, the reality is that a large segment of our population is living in fear of the government and that is not freedom, that is not the country I want my kids growing up in.

In Virginia I just renewed online, though it was a RealID. Five minutes and a week later…but to get RealID the first time it was rigorous. My son just get his learners permit and did RealID so also birth certificate and all.

Can landlords be considered small businesses? Therefore helping with rent moratorium? I know many individuals who rely on rental income so I get why it’s hard to give people a break as it means you can’t pay your own bills but if people can’t work they can’t pay rent.

I‘m still shocked to this day how many music publications misunderstand her popularity. Most fans are older, at least millenial and many of us listen to myriad genres. My roots are deep in the hardcore and indierock scenes of the 80s/90s.

FWIW I had no issue with shifting the way we talk but it’s not an accident it’s how it’s taught. At most we are told to say “the americas” in reference to North and South America together.

I remember on a family vacation summer before the election an ad for Trump was on & my kids were making fun, my mom said - maybe he won’t be so bad this time, I think he’s really changed. I have never looked at her the same since. She‘s a SA survivor & yet can’t see him for the monster he is.
