This keeps popping up in my feed. BPL launched its Books Unbanned program way back in April 2022, and it now includes Seattle, Los Angeles County, Boston, and San Diego. NYPL has its own program, Books for All. Libraries have been *on this* for a while.

Ending free movement from the EU to the UK because of Brexit has led to a 330,000 short fall in the UK labour market, with lower skilled sector hit hardest, the FT finds.
