Performance evaluations are due today and CDC Feds are patiently awaiting their assigned bracket. Because, not only are our scores deflated, as only a certain % of the agency can get a 5/5, but we’re also going to be RANKED against each other, even if we’ve done our jobs to satisfaction. 👍🆒

Nobody understands US immigration law, so the conspiracy theory presupposes an extraordinary amount of legal knowledge Yet this scheme would be silly, because as the USCIS manual says, kids over 18 who don’t get automatic derivative naturalization should just apply for regular naturalization:
i. Individuals claiming U.S. citizenship under INA 320 through a U.S. citizen parent who could not otherwise transmit citizenship to the child at birth or under former INA 320, 321 or former or current 322 may apply to USCIS for naturalization (as opposed to automatic acquisition under current INA 320 or expedited naturalization upon application under current INA 322).
The inability to acquire U.S. citizenship under the Child Citizenship Act of 2000 or earlier INA sections does not affect the validity of an individual's
LPR status.

DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY
8 CFR Part 214
[CIS No. 2870-26; DHS Docket No. USCIS-2026-0529]
RIN 1615-AD26
Removing Deference to Prior USCIS Determinations of Eligibility
AGENCY: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, DHS.
ACTION: Notice of proposed rulemaking.
SUMMARY: The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS), proposes to remove 8 CFR 214.1(c)(5), which generally
provides that USCIS gives deference to a prior approval involving the same facts when
adjudicating a request to extend a petition for an alien’s employment or stay. This change
would better align DHS regulations with the statute, which places the burden of proving
eligibility for all immigration benefits on the petitioner, applicant, or beneficiary;
strengthen adjudicatory review; and support agency priorities to improve the integrity of
the immigration system and better protect the interests of U.S. workers.

Project 2025 is 55% complete. Presuming the U.S. Supreme Court’s full cooperation, the single most significant aspect of Project 2025 we can expect once the Christian White Nationalist overhaul is fully implemented, is the total centralization and weaponization of law enforcement and the military.
September 17, 2026 at 4:00 PM

The single most consequential, society altering aspect of Project 2025, yet to be fully implemented, presuming a fully aligned 6-3 Supreme Court:
The complete centralization and weaponization of federal law enforcement via total application of the doctrine of the Unitary Executive.

While policy changes like abortion bans or federal grant elimination target specific sectors, the absolute centralization of the Department of Justice (DOJ) FBI, DHS, and the military apparatus will alter the foundational architecture of American constitutional democracy itself.

This centralization of law enforcement affects all 335+ million people in the United States and permanently rewrites 250 or more years of legal and societal norms.
