Then some drama about UFOs around that time as well... A child appeared at a distance and waved to another child, urging them to follow - eventually they appeared at a UFO, and the first kid turned around and showed an alien face. Absolutely horrifying, I couldn't even speak for 15 minutes after.

It's pretty fun coming up with some interesting mini dioramas for the base of my mega gargant.

An unpainted WIP model of a medieval peasant sat on an outhouse toilet. The outhouse has been smashed around him leaving him understandably a little confused and rather perturbed.

The model outhouse and peasant in place on the base of a huge giant model striding past in the background. The giant has just knocked the top of the outhouse leaving the fortunate peasant behind.

I think it's mostly just more to remember (which stat was used for this check again, and what is it for this unit?). We don't play very often, and those numbers are used even less often. Leadership and Cool are pretty much the same anyway. Intelligence could be something for certain checks.

I don't think they add much at all, to be honest. Since mostly everyone play Marines, it's pretty much the same for everyone anyway. Could just as well just use one stat for it all, as usual. Just one more thing to look up the few times you need to use it.

Recently remembered that Warhammer TV exists, so I've been watching Penitence and Imperial Aeronautica. Both quite good! The stories are pretty simple, but great animation and full points for atmosphere, sounds etc. They're really stepping it up now. Loved the Aeldari air acrobatics.

One thing they don’t tell you about being a working artist is that every once in a while a picture is simply Haunted and, for reasons beyond the reach of man, simple things you have done a thousand times will be Very Hard and Look Bad and you will lose ten years of skill for the duration of that job
