Checking with Cornell folks about this now that it's a decent time on the East coast. A lot of Universities have rolled back support for Indigenous programs (student support, depts, etc) but Cornell should have had resources to fight against anti-Indigenous movements. This is... disturbing.

More people need to read up on the history of slavery in the Americas and the lengths enslaved women went to to avoid bearing children into slavery. Look up flos pavonis, cotton root, all the other tools used to prevent or end pregnancy - a key form of resistance to sexual and reproductive violence.
