Spare a thought for the real victim: the white man in power
Labour MPs & party insiders tell me they’ve never seen Keir Starmer so angry as over Mandelson’s lies about Epstein links.

But those who know him well say that anger has now turned inwards. That Starmer is, above all else, a man of public service, and will be grappling with his conscious this w/e.

In fact we have records of at least 65,000 immigrants in the late MEDIEVAL period. This means real numbers were significantly higher. In England more than 1% of the population was foreign born (never mind 2nd gen) with numbers as high as 1 in 10 in cities. There’s a database!

It's crucial to counter claims that polarisation (much like populism) is always bad The middle ground between racism and anti-racism, transphobia and trans rights, genocide and anti-genocide is complicit with racism, transphobia and genocide rather than the "reasonable" position

(ii) There's also a wider constitutional issue. MPs are supposed to represent & be accessible to their constituents. 1/
