1/3 A new report from PLP finds that the cost of #judicialreview is pricing ordinary people out of justice. Most above the legal aid threshold do not pursue or abandon strong claims because they fear having to pay huge legal costs to the government if they lose.

1/ The UK's benefit sanctions regime is causing harm to those most vulnerable. In a report published by PLP at the end of last year, drawing on casework from 100+ sanctioned people and analysis of DWP data, we found the #UniversalCredit sanctions system is failing on its own terms.
