I think Statistics Canada needs to correct its inflation calculations on food. The prime rib on the right was bought Feb 2023. 2.05kg and $31. The prime rib on the left was bought May 2026 and is 2.4 kg for $105. That is almost a 100% per year inflation just a touch more than they say it is.
