Michael D @quellspeller.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I’m not familiar with that site, but I know it’s usually more of a publisher choice than the seller. Bookshop.org has a filter to see the DRM free ebooks, all TOR published books are DRM free but each publisher chooses. 030

Michael D @quellspeller.bsky.social · 14/09/2026No, digital has more room for effects like relics and card rarity to gate powerful build around options. Clank! is fun and a good pvp deck builder but the deck complexity is nowhere near what StS manages. 100
Michael D @quellspeller.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Clank is fun, but it’s not tuned to the degree StS is and I don’t think a board game reasonably can be. I haven’t played the StS board game but my understanding is that they had to simplify and rescale some of the effects and damage to make it manageable to track. 100
Michael D @quellspeller.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Clank! came out three years before StS, Dominion over a decade earlier. Board games have some cool examples of deck builders that led to StS but the video game really let them nail the roguelike aspect in a way board games can’t. 100

Michael D @quellspeller.bsky.social · 02/09/2026My point is more that there’s no need to talk about how great the books and world are when there’s a show coming up that you can’t already own. 1220
Michael D @quellspeller.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Declaring the author died doesn’t somehow magically stop her from profiting. There are many other terrific books that have been written, why do you need to hold on to these? 32864
Michael D @quellspeller.bsky.social · 28/08/2026I’d also add that I tend to find board game videos via BGG rather than the YouTube algorithm, if people are coming from offsite you won’t see the same decay in algorithmic recommendation as other channels 020
