As someone who came to this stuff late as well, all I can say is just keep listening to yourself and asking questions. It’s very possible you’re just a cis person who is just being interested and excited and happy for friends but there’s also the other possibility.

there's definitely a level of 'Stalin is 'our' more recent enemy and communism is fundamentally more scary to western liberals than fascism' to it but also it feels just a little bit skeezy to rate tyrants in that way I guess.

The only Merry Mushmen product I'm directly involved in is Knock!, so I was sort of checked out about XNOO - their collection of fantasy comics and pulp fiction. They sent me a copy and oh my God. I was blown away. It might be the most important (? ambitious? visionary?) fantasy book of 10 years. +
