I mean I've been mitigating a lot of Things That Happen In My Brain by using ADHD coping strategies. Getting a diagnosis would help me feel more secure in knowing what's going on in my head. It would explain things. It would give context for my life so far. It would help me understand myself better.

...... The problem being, right That It's entirely possible to interpret this as purely illustrative. An embellishment, a romanticisation. Yknow, as artists we all do it. BUT The way that it is written communicates a certain sincerity that makes me think that this person actually believes this.
