i remember reading an article by a psychiatrist that was like, the entire upper class of the UK (so most of parliament) has attachment trauma from being sent to boarding school age 5 and it really affects how they are ruling the country and it's part of why we're so fucked lol

have started doing a party game called pit sommelier, where a blindfolded person sniffs someone’s armpit and then has to describe the notes they’re getting (mine were described as smelling of rotting leaves) before guessing who the pit belongs to. highly recommend!!

following figure skating and tennis is wild for that, was shocked at first when tennis players were like "i'm withdrawing because i have a tummy ache" when figure skaters are like "i've injected myself with a numbing agent so i can't feel my landing leg, which is broken in eight places"
