False. This is not limited to national projects anywhere. They removed section 30 which was the only federal trigger for impact assessments for data centres powered by fossil fuel. No federal assessment: and in Alberta no provincial assessment. Full steam ahead. gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p2/202...

Remember when Alberta’s NDP government worked with Alberta’s cities to create a city charter that would have used funds from a tax on carbon pollution to better and more consistently fund these things like transit and its related infrastructure. The Kenney gov’t tore it up.

My 16 year old son was hit by a car yesterday while riding home from work in an area where no bike lanes exist. Fortunately, this time he walked away uninjured. The driver in the car never bothered to stop. How many "next time" collisions will there be before drivers give a shit about lives?
