it took me 800 years to draw this so Apologies in advance for my speed but post max vw prompt!! vash is not as goopy eyed here but his eyes are certainly wet and is still slowly getting used to it all #vashwood #trigun

"You know," Vash laughs, low, more a puff of breath that bleeds into a polyphonic shiver, "this might be the most honest you get." He's teasing. Goading. Gloating, knowing he's got Wolfwood in the palm of his hand — in more ways than one. "Your body just…tells me what it wants. Even when you won't." He noses up the line of Wolfwood's jaw, mouthing at where it hinges, torturing the soft part under Wolfwood's ear with sucking kisses. He pants the next words right into his ear. "You'd let me do anything, wouldn't you?"

His protests don't even make it to his tongue; they die somewhere deep inside of him, fizzling out in all the heat. The old conditioning flares, too — pride, propriety, the shame of being known like this. But Vash's thumb presses deep into the center of the bruise and the sound that comes out of him is a moan dredged from the very bottom of his gut.

"Yes." It's barely a word. His own voice sounds chewed up.

He'd have bent the knee for less.

whumptober day 1 "I'm Fine" and "I feel like million dollars" with injured #vash and #wolfwood taking care of him I will never learn what short short form is 🚶‍♀️

They've been walking for a while now, a hike with all their stuff and Vash's leg not working properly low on the list of favourite activities. Wolfwood grew more and more concerned about that injury that slowly but steadily drained blood from Vash's body, all colors from his face gone and forgotten. Vash was too insistent to not patch it up until they move far enough from any dangers.

"Not yet. Not safe enough."
"Is it safer to walk with," Wolfwood gestures vaugely at Vash's lower area, "whatever this bunch of metal dug in you is?"

Vash closes his eyes. His breath is very proper — that's the best Wolfwood could say, and his face — controlled, not peaceful, controlled. But the way he grips at Wolfwood's shoulder sells how much it costs him to look up at Wolfwood and calmly explain, voice tired and low toned: "Once we start working on it, I'll probably be immobile for a few hours. Let's get secured for the night."

Vash's thigh is covered in blood that pools through the holes in his trousers, his knee barely bending as he shifts to lower himself against the stone wall of their night's stay. It's not a cozy hotel but it's decently covered from the wind, and Vash finally decided it's safe enough for his likes, so who is Wolfwood to complain? Nights aren't so cold this season.
"How'd you holding up?"

He looks like he's about to pass out at any moment and Wolfwood is both surprised and terrified of how he's still conscious. He smiles weakly, the red on his teeth making a grotesque mismatch with his wax-pale face and the way he salutes with his right hand after his prosthetic doesn't cooperate.
"Like sixty million double dollars!"
"Sixty million double dollars don't force a few iles walk while actively bleeding out. Shit, can't believe you got people prepared to hunt you now. This guy had equipment!"

Vash chuckles dryly. "Terrible times to be me, I guess..."
