It's absolutely disgusting that hanging out with your art friends who make incredible things makes you want to pick up your paintbrush again. How fucking dare.

If you don’t read old stuff you’ll never discover that people in the olden days had the same thoughts and feelings and dreams and anxieties you do, sometimes articulated differently, sometimes exactly the same way. You are never truly alone in anything and old writings are a neon sign telling you so

Artwork "Saturn devouring his son" but with a "I consent!" sticker placed on where the dead body's head would be.

Some pics I took making the 3gun screenprints! I borrowed some fancy inks from the biz partners' collection, thinned with water, and had a good, messy time making splatter effects between the yellow and black print layers🫟

Stiff brush, a plastic lid with small puddles of brown/yellow/red inks, and a cup of water, on a tiny surface in the middle of a messy print studio

My thumb flicking ink off the end of a brush over paper with previously-printed yellow

Speckled ink splatters over a solid yellow layer of screen ink

Finished screen print; a wet black layer of ink over the previous layers of yellow and splattered ink forms a silhouette against the moon

Heyy I'll be at #animeidaho with a new #trigun flavored screen print! I used some odd ink combos with this one and splattered various red/brown/gold inks between print layers, so each print has some unique textures going on. I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out 🔫🪽🌕

Screen print of a gunslinger sprouting some odd winglike things, silhouetted against a yellow moon. Print is lying on a red coat next to some novelty glasses, because I think I'm cool.

Was feeling pretty good about this design, but my friend instantly elevated it with the way they stitched it on their jacket 🔥🔥

I look at this page and go YEAH that's the kinda shit artists have in their sketchbooks. SERIOUS SHEEP STUDIES. But I'm pretty sure I just felt like drawing fluffy shapes for a half hour

Making this account hasn't kick-started me into drawing anything new yet, so I might as well post old sketches in the meantime? Woo
