Yes, Swiss scientist Fritz Zwicky coined the term “dark matter” which is impressive, but he also coined the term “spherical bastard” to describe people who are bastards no matter which way you look at them, and I think that should be celebrated more.

Saw Project Hail Mary again!! Amaze amaze amaze. need blu-ray asap. My one quibble remains: "Ryland Grace" is in no way the name of a white dude. So I'm imagining John Boyega or Chiwetel Ejiofor in the role and salivating. (Gosling did great and prolly the film isn't made w/o him, but STILL.)

Rogue Captain Marilyn Stark (Shelley Hack) clutches a goblet tossed to her by an amoral corporate sponsor in a room with decadent furnishings and Rasta goons. The set and prop design were left over from an earlier draft where Stark was sponsored by a pirate.

AAAAAAAAA STILL CANT QUITE BELIEVE THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING

Screen shot of NASA's online tool for tracking the Artemis II mission. The spacecraft's path is a heavy blue line forming a figure 8 with the Moon inside the closest loop. The Orion capsule is close to moving behind the Moon from the perspective of Earth, which space nerds call LOS. Humans have not flown this far from Earth ever, and this close to the Moon for over 50 years!!! I have chills.
