In NYC, it's a schlep to get to Manhattan & the other boroughs. It's minimum an hour to most parts of Manhattan from Brooklyn. I go. My Manhattan-based friends rarely make the effort aside from 3. At least 8 Brooklyn-based friends have left the state. Time for me to make new friends or leave NYC.
