I know how much a PhD costs. Why the fuck would someone spend that much if they're not learning anything? What's the point? Do AI enthusiasts not understand that this entire idea invalidates the notion of higher education? Why would I trust someone who used AI to get through school to do anything?

I loved the Stranger Things finale, particularly the epilogue. In fact, the entire fifth season is worth that epilogue. It was incredibly honest and well executed. Bravo to all involved with the finale, the season, and the entire series. I will miss these characters.

Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is my favorite novel. That said, I did not go into @realgdt.bsky.social’s film expecting it to become my favorite film, nor even my favorite del Toro film. Alas, the film, even with its many changes, remains an incredibly faithful adaptation and one of the 2025’s best.
