It's so Namjoon to have a section in his exhibition named "i don't know but i like it" In a time where there is a strong need to explain why you like something or you have to see yourself in it to justify liking something, he created space for that undefined reason. Liking something just because💜

and you're not really sure why.

I was asked to explain it, so I tried,
but it didn't convey very well.
So I just made a room instead.

There is no grand reason behind
what's here. They're simply things I like.

But when you think about it, that's how everyone lives. A captured image, a sentence that passed by, a playlist for working out, a strangely shaped pebble picked up from the beach...

A feed, a drawer, even a corner of the heart are all, in the end,
just each person's own small exhibition.

“I don't know why, I just like it.”

And honestly, that's enough.

the thing about fiction is that it is pretend. i think pretend has a lot of uses. one is thinking about how it would be to be another person, which can include people you hate or are scared of. one is exploring feelings and impulses it would be dangerous/wrong/etc to entertain too much in real life.
