Arguably the most useful 'promo pen' I have ever received. The screwdriver tip is magnetized and the level works. The notch in the cap is a working phone stand, but doesn't work with a phone case. It needs a touchscreen pointer.

Now, the start of the Viking Village. A simple workhouse, an animal pen, and a pair of bridges. #Valheim 1.0 is in play!

A verdant meadow with a few oak trees in the background, and the sea behind them. A wooden fence encloses some animal pens, and a small workhouse is nestled behind them, built next to a stone altar/shelter of some kind, built by the ancient peoples of this land.

Looking past some wood piles, you can see the three beehives and a simle wooden deck bridge. The bridge has diagonal wooden trusses and torches on each end. It crosses a small stream just upstream from the mouth of the waterway. In the distance, some trees which have yet to be cut down.

Yet.

Fear not, we have a lot of beech seeds to reforest with.

A more xomplex bridge crossing another small waterway. This one is a covered bridge with a deck, wooden sides, and large wooden "X" beams supporting the steep thatched roof. MOre golden meadows, large oak trees, and the sea waaaay off in the distance. This waterway feeds into the waterway which passes by the settlement. Torches light the bridge at night.

Next phase of the 3D printed PRR Catenary project is more to scale, especially in length. I have to cut it in half to fit (diagonally) on my print bed, and glue it together.

Two feet of HO scale Pennsylvania Railroad catenary. The top wire describes a graceful inverted arc. Stringer wires link this to the next wire, which is a straight line. Much shorter stringer wires link the bottom wire to the middle. The height is about two thirds of an inch. The spacing between the middle wire and bottom wire is 1/16th of an inch, and all the wires are 1/32nd of an inch.

I thought about my Orks, but I wanted to go with MOAR YELLA. So here's the three Sky Cranes of the Turan Construction Company.

Three bright construction-yellow Valkyrie Sky Cranes [A,B,C] belonging to the Turan Construction Company. They are variants of the Warhammer 40K Imperial Guard Valkyrie, but instead of a large troop compartment, they have a set of magnetic grapples. These were originally designed to carry battle equipment or vehicles, now they move construction equipment and containers around. The Valkyrie has a long nose leading back to a pair of engines mounted above the reverse-delta wings. There are auxiliary lift engines at the end of each wing. The hull stretches back into a pair of twin booms which hold a small aft wing between them and twin tails. They are painted yellow, the engines are brass with gunmetal exhaust nozzles, and the cockpits are outlined in black. Very Tonka toys.

A close up of the cockpit of the "A" unit of the Sky Cranes. You can see a pilot working the controls, as well as one of the magnetic grapples under the right-hand engine. It looks quite sturdy. The ship is labelled with an "A" behind the cockpit in a stencil font, and below the cockpit is "Turan Const.". Below that are some hazard stripes.
