Finally repaired this plaster damage at the weekend, affectionately known as the "Beavis and Butthead hole".

Just looking though old White Dwarf issues and am mildly fascinated by this otherwise pretty clean and crisp land raider that was painted with a part of it leaking and alarming amount of black ooze in a very localised way. It just looks very odd.

Got another pair of 1980s Orc Archers undercoated. I've always thought 25mm bases on ranged troopers is a big disadvantage compared to 20mm bases – but I'm going to see if I can make piece with it for Glenwoe.

Marshalling Orc Archers for Glen Woe – the White Dwarf 76 McDeath prequel scenario. The RRD3 Harboth Troopers weren't available until the following year, but I don't have enough early 1980s Orcs to be a McDeath purist. Yet.

15 or so metal Orcs archers undercoated black and in the early stages of painting, on an orange wet palette lid.
