I made peace with myself. I now know that even if I started skating when I was young, I could have never been a serious figure skater, as I would have never been able to wake up at 5am to go to practice. I'm a night owl, and I have to embrace it

What an awful flashback. That's EXACTLY how a guy broke my tibia and fibula in 4 pieces, by "accidentally" (he was skating around like a prick) sliding onto me and hitting my boot with his. I hope she's ok #figureskating
