seanie like a melody @pressxtosean.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I got bigger hands too but I prefer the non-XL n3DS. that's just me though. the good news is that the XL is typically a bit less pricey cuz they got a wider release outside Japan than the non-xl did so they're not as rare. 000
seanie like a melody @pressxtosean.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I still recommend against the "new" 2DS XL personally bc it just looks and feels like an extremely cheap and flimsy product compared to the "new" 3DS and it's XL counterpart. I know that the latter are much more rare and expensive these days though. 110
seanie like a melody @pressxtosean.bsky.social · 09/10/2026compley identical hardware specs other than lack of 3d features. if you're installing cfw you can do the overclocking and L2 cache hacks for non "new" 3ds games on both. 210

seanie like a melody @pressxtosean.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Assault Horizon remains interesting to me as an experiment in just what ace combat can do and be outside of the previously established conventions. it's definitely a failure overall but I'm glad that some aspects of it were allowed to be repurposed in a game that's actually good 010
seanie like a melody @pressxtosean.bsky.social · 07/10/2026when u beat a boss & see a lil cutscene of their plane blowing apart. those segments where time slows, camera zooms, & u lock tf in & unload everything on the ace in front of u. the part where that boss pilot flies out of the cockpit as the plane explodes. that's all straight out of Assault Horizon. 110

seanie like a melody @pressxtosean.bsky.social · 06/10/2026one really interesting thing about Ace Combat 8 is how it actually manages to take a few cues from AC: Assault Horizon and somehow make them not completely suck. like that game is best forgotten entirely but its DNA is undeniably present in Ace Combat 8. 020
