Surely on that issue, but they doing lots to alienate these voters at the same time e.g. these people like the environment (in old fashion tory way), they believe in climate change, they believe in fairness.

I don't think he wrote that in 1991 considering he died in 1955. 🤔

How do you see them changing, i see no sign of it, but your seeing them up close. But then I still don't get why Kemi ratings have gone up so my judgement is not reliable on this i guess.

But Kemi, or something blah. Its like the party in the press are willing it not to die @timbale.bsky.social, even though a lot seem to want Reform but know(in there hearts) it won't work, so Kemi!!!

A two panel meme of the Simpsons. The top panel has kirk van houten gesturing to a race care bed. The text reads "im an AI guy. How many local models do YOU run?" The bottom panel is homer with a pope hat photoshopped onto his head. The bottom text reads "I run the catholic church."

The ability to pour hundreds of millions of pounds into a loss-making TV channel, bent on wrenching British politics sharply to the right, is yet another of the ways in which extreme wealth is trying to remake UK democracy. It needs to be part of any serious conversation about political funding.

I am not very worried about about the Tory Tapestry’s misuse of “doth”. What worries me much more is this sequence of panels which seems to show a small boat full of brown-skinned people followed by a plague of rats running riot and then a lot of dead white people labelled tax payers.
Detail from Conservative Party mock Bayeux Tapestry showing 1. A boat full of brown skinned people. 2. Enormous rats chasing cats. 3. White-skinned “tax payers” dead in the streets.

A man builds an IED. He sets it off in a busy public street. Shrapnel flies about hitting cars, homes and a child's bedroom. It's a miracle nobody is injured. And Reform MP Sarah Pochin calls his imprisonment "disproportionate" and "two tier justice."
It does raise this point of two-tiered
justice..

Reform's Sarah Pochin believes the
sentence handed to the 64-year-old who
blew up a ULEZ camera was
disproportionate'.

Clearly there are reasons, but i think Will makes fair point that its hard to know what it actually means. I follow politics reasonable closely but i can't the decipher (most) of the code. So its becomes close meaningless? Is it real problem for the leader (or whoever) or not?!

Interesting discussion, but reform polling is on the slide, Farage is becoming more unpopular, this make anti reform vote more solid. Although like the others I have major misgivings on Burnham. He is liked and not hated like Starmer, this in my mind looks like small labour majority. Stephen Kemi!!
