I feel like even by typical CEO standards the stuff going on over at Sony Bungie is insane. They deemed this series canned not even a few months ago after firing the whole team basically when everyone was jumping on Destiny to show support for the series.

The Meremanoid anime is so fascinating. I've been trying to wrap my head around how the development worked in tandem with the game. The game was in pre-production ~1997 when the anime released and there was a vague idea of this whole "Ardin is a merman in a sea of mermaids" but not much else
