Wouldn’t be so bad if the people “contributing” with AI all took the time to be deliberate and careful in their submissions. Understand the problem, but also understand the fix you’re sharing. Understand why and how it works, and how to even ask for the right things.

It took me two years to find something last time I was job hunting (2020-2022). I'm INCREDIBLY fortunate to have not only found something, but found something stable with a good employer. I will be holding on for dear life to this job. Cherish the good in your life; there's no guarantee it'll last.

Being able to actively dampen overwhelming noise, or make use of the onboard compute to focus only on the voices of those I'm directly interacting with is incredible. We live in a time with some very cool tech, and I'm glad to know that our HoH friends can benefit from it!

I'm fortunate not to have any hearing loss. If anything, my problems go the other direction: I hear too much. It becomes very difficult to process everything around me in crowded environments, and can cause my anxiety to spike badly. AirPods Pro have been an essential tool for me for years.

For sure. One thing I can say about Apple is they bring some hugely beneficial accessibility options to the table, even if the core product remains largely the same (which is what I was poking fun at--feels like every year they introduce it like this).
