Not that anyone should expect better, but offering a tacit admission that you actively look at user inputs isn’t a flex about your product, but a giant red flag. AI is one of those things that could be great if properly used, but naturally the capital class is here to ruin everything.

Hot take time. Minidisc deserved so much more than Sony let it have. Decent sound quality*, swappable media, undeniable cool factor (fight me). Letting the record label strangle all the potential out of it due to piracy concerns was stupid.
