My (25f) boyfriend (25m) won't stop quoting a cyclist.

My (25f) boyfriend (25m) has been quoting the slovenian cyclist Primož Roglič non-stop for the last month. It was cute at first, but it's gotten pretty annoying, as the guy isn't even winning, but for some reason they always interview him at the finish, giving him daily material. I can't see what he sees in him and i'm concerned for his life priorities. What should i do?

This is enough for now. Have been following procycling for three decades. This was the first Tour de France in which I voluntarily skipped whole stages. The motivation was not just there (due to state of sport). Will have to see what races to watch for rest of season. Let's see if some more 📊 tmrw.

Lenny Martinez sticky-bottle-gate -- problem here is that the UCI accepts the idea you can "cheat" as long as you don't cheat too much. In addition, the penalties are highly inconsistent. It's a mess. If they just banned any sort of sticky bottle it would be pretty simple.

Let's all be for fuckin real here. Tadej hasn’t had a bad day on the bike in 2 years, his team’s tactics no longer matter at all, and the 2nd best mountain rider in the world can’t even get more than 2 bike lengths on him or get him out of the saddle. 💉

Why? He's never had a positive test result.
Why do you think it's OK to accuse someone of doping when there is no evidence of it?

Bc the entire history of the sport is athletes and teams finding new ways to cheat that are undetectable at first.
And his sudden leap 18 mos ago from very strong rider to 5-10% better than literally all the rest of the very best in the world while never looking out of breath is not believable.

If the argument is that he benefits from improved nutrition/training/tech that is “light years” ahead, then it would stand to reason that more of his current era peers should also be matching/outperforming EPO era (they’re not). Hence: bad company. Hope he’s clean for the sake of the sport. Cheers

Just caught up on the highlights of todays #Giro stage. As astonishing as it was, this wasn't 2018 when Froome won it. As great as Yates was, it was more about Del Toro losing it. I can understand Carapaz's tactics in not chasing but WTF was Del Toro doing? Why did he refuse to chase Yates? #cycling
