They shut down flu tracking and flu is out of control. They cancelled ferries to save money and now we are gonna get shittier ferries that cost more. They fired all the public servants and unemployment went up. They gave landlords tax breaks and homelessness people are dying on the streets.

We knew they were lying. It was OBVIOUS they were lying. Hundreds of jobs advertised, hundreds of graduate nurses not getting hired. Meanwhile in hospitals those with jobs crushed under extra workload, and no leave, no replacements, no help. Simeon browns answer? Gaslighting the whole country

I mask up the moment I enter my workplace - currently it is full of Influenza A and our hospitals are beyond capacity with it. The same hospitals that got gouged of supporting staff by Lester Levy and this current government. We are under enormous pressure and beyond sustainability.

This is a truth. All ED’s are beyond their capabilities. Every successive government since Jenny Shipley’s attempt at privatisation in the early 90’s have failed to listen to clinicians. They have simply put in targets rather than provide infrastructure.

An amendment to this, it’s seems both Costner and Kura actually suspended their own values if they had them to begin with. So the fallout is for those further down the chain. This is in direct opposition of the recommendations from the Margaret Bazely commission of inquiry in 2007.

In reality it’s 💯 believable. The bias and prejudice towards the complainant from police leadership is absolute de rigour. His reputation was compromised and he is still actively helped upward by his colleagues because no one believes there could be truth to what the younger woman has said.

So many of us have those 1980’s memories. The grimness of this year from a work perspective and politically has led me to step back from social media. I’ve been trying to find joy in small ways, listen to audio books do puzzles etc. Until today I’m back, I need to know I’m not alone.
