No, for Covid, every season is 'respiratory illness' season. Vaccines should have been available in the summer, when waves often begin, not after cases have ramped up. Still get vaxxed when you can, but people should have had access sooner! www.ctvnews.ca/vancouver/ar...

...don't think I care about them, I go out of my way when they're in some made up crisis to prove I do, and they resume leaving me out, abusing me, etc. I really think they were always like that. It was easy for them to convince me I was the crazy one because, I was nothing like them.

I'm the sibling who doesn't self harm, drive drunk, swallow pills, etc. I don't hate myself. I don't want to hate them, but they won't stop abusing me, so at this point, it is a form of self harm to keep hoping they'll change. I can't even get into it without doxxing myself but I put them first...

Sometimes you just need your thoughts to not be all alone with you in your head. Look, I don't want to need validation either. But when all my family does is gaslight me and twist shit, the only way to stay sane is to keep posting the real story wherever I can. And that I'm not suicidal.

Like. Yeah, I wish I could be normal, too. And when I talk about it, I get accused of crashing out. But people who get to say that have people to talk to irl. If all you have is "online," it's not some formal place where you only post things you want the world to see. Sometimes you need to talk.

The fucked up thing about being disabled is that I don't even want to have a relationship with my siblings because they truly are violent, abusive, cruel, greedy, fucked up people. But I can't just go fucking meet people. When I put energy into making friends, they always want me to just be healthy.

One slammed my head in a door once, and I still didn't hit him. Because he was a child. So was I, actually. I was 16 or 17. And I suffered from migraines, which he knew. Still didn't hit him. Turns out it's actually super fucking easy to not hit children.

How fucking twisted do you have to be to think you can even get away with turning everyone against one person? Especially nowadays, when everything is digital. Not that it ever made sense anyway. If I was abusive, I would have hit the kids I was babysitting when they hit me.

Both my siblings abused their dog. I was the only one who thought something was medically wrong with him. He had fucking cancer. I'm the only one who's never hit him. I've never hit or abused any animal, or abused any person. I've had to defend myself though.

I wish I could go back and tell younger me to get far away from these fucking monsters. The worst part is, I did know my brother was a piece of shit. He's been throwing me under the bus since he could talk. My sister seemed sweet until she was about 10, though. Then she became mean.

Ask any of them to show you proof of their claims; they can't. Meanwhile I'm the one who's so sick from the abuse, stress, being terrorized and medically neglected, that I don't have any connections to anyone. But still, I'm happy to show my bank statements that prove they're lying.

It's really fucked up how much I sacrificed for my siblings, how much I did for them, that I gave up my own future to protect them, and they completely turned on me. For money, because my parents have always spoiled them. They tell everyone a fake version of events, but the evidence supports me.

(I will be more specific about what and who I'm talking about when I'm finally able to move away from my family. I know I sound like some random making shit up, but that's because it's not safe for me. I have tried to speak up, to get away, and I can't do it without help, which I don't have.)

NOT saying that I could have fixed everything alone, obviously. But there are enough people like me, especially neurodivergent girls, who were systematically targeted and taken down rather than supported, and we all could be in a better fucking situation rn if a bunch of Greta Thunbergs ran things.

I'm so fucking tired of this shit. I literally had my life ruined by people who didn't like that I was pointing out the cracks in the system, and LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE NOW. You fuckers could have just listened to me, given the pedo teachers some consequences, and we wouldn't have to be here.

Imagine paying $50 for an all you can eat buffet. The lines a bit long but the food is ok. Now imagine you only pay $20 to go to the buffet. But Each piece of food costs $500 dollars. Drinks are at a different buffet. Same with silverware. Long lines too. Universal vs whatever our healthcare is.

Well, turns out if you have MCAS and pop a bunch of antihistamines and your mother decides to be an abusive freak for no reason (per usual), your symptoms won't flare as badly. Specifically several allegra, but I also took 1 each of other antihistamines. Not medical advice, just saying.

Officials across the globe take no action; any words they do utter amount to blatant hypocrisy, demonstrating only that the lives of the innocent hold no importance for them. We need not criticize the occupation—it is well known to be a vile criminal entity—but what of these world officials?

A truly heinous man has doxxed the Cornell victim on X and the comments are predictably vile. Based on countless interviews I’ve done with survivors, the trauma they are subjected to for coming forward is oftentimes even worse than the initial trauma they experienced. There is no real justice system

Typically, I would say it's good to be disqualified from a workplace like that, but in this economy, I know we don't have the choices we should. So, don't bring an iced coffee to a job interview if you really need that job. Do bring one if you're testing how toxic their culture is.🧵

plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
They expect that means you'll take your vacation days, not stay late or work weekends, not answer work emails after hours--all things that are exploitative and harmful for your physical and mental health. So they're right. It's just disgusting.🧵
100
plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
Bringing an iced coffee is a green flag as a human being--it shows that you prioritize your own wellbeing over the company. That's good for your mental and physical health. However, that's not what capitalism and toxic corporate culture want. So it makes sense that would disqualify you.🧵
100
plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
Some interview etiquette, like dressing up, makes sense. Should you be disqualified if you're not in a financial position to dress up, no. But doing so as you are able communicates that you understand corporate culture and will fit into the environment without much teaching/training.🧵
100
plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
The iced coffee debate is annoying me because it's not that complicated. Is it proper etiquette? No. Why is it not proper etiquette? Because it shows that you prioritize yourself, not the company. It shows that you're prepared to make sure your needs are met, whether the company provides or not.🧵

plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
Everyone on this planet will be better off when everyone on this planet has their needs comfortably met. Imagine going outside and nobody was in a rush, nobody was scared, nobody was stressed, nobody was hostile or mean or looking for a victim. It would be paradise, and it's so fucking attainable.🧵
000
plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
And the thing is, they would STILL be better off, because living like that, exploiting people, being evil, fucks you up mentally, even moreso than you may have already been fucked up. You don't know peace or love. Thiel's weird rant about evil being competent just showed that yet again.🧵

We have enough for every single person on earth to live in safe housing, to access quality healthcare, to eat safe food, to have a solid education, etc. But that wouldn't allow a tiny fraternity of white men to terrorize the rest of us.🧵
100
plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
I don't believe any of these powerful white men actually truly believe that improving everyone's quality of life won't be objectively good. They just don't want to give up their power. They don't want to stop abusing and controlling people. They don't want to give up special treatment.🧵

plaidflannel (they/them) @plaidflannel.bsky.social · 26/09/2026
They tried to tell me I was oversimplifying it, but I saw in lessons every day that the simplest solution does in fact make life better for EVERYONE. Quality of life improves, as in the basics we need to survive--not the ability to control and abuse as they wish. And there is the real problem.🧵

The thing is, I was the one talking to their kids every day. I was the one seeing the neglect, abuse, depression, eating disorders. I knew that being rich didn't solve their problems; all it did was protect the ones in power, and those shielding them. Fathers, grandfathers, male teachers, etc.🧵

I went to an elite college prep. Every day, they would tell us it was our responsibility to fix societal issues with all of these complicated steps. I would say, why don't the rich just hoard less? They didn't like that. I wasn't allowed to graduate because my solutions were unacceptable. 🧵
