Oh, something I just remembered about this one is that it was the first time I'd ever triggered the anti-currency-counterfeiting module that's built into Photoshop. It really did *not* want me to create the texture maps for those stacks of bills. I ended up using Krita (open source) for the task.

My dad brought over some of my highschool artwork from 95-97 (age 15-17) and woof, is it ever *of the era* lol You've got #doom fan art, a buxom raver girl named Tweeter with akimbo SMGs, a sexy cat android, and a very manga-influenced martial arts action comic page. More info in the alt text.

I'd completely forgotten about this armored cyber cat-girl drawing. The clawed hand is actually kind of cool. Age 17.

This one's undated but it would probably be 1996, as the action reads better than the comics I was drawing 95. It follows the 180-degree rule at least. Definitely a manga influence here, which at that time for me would've meant Battle Angel Alita, Gunsmith Cats, Ghost in the Shell.

Amateur adolescent comic/manga action pin-up of a raver girl character named Tweeter. She's wearing a hoodie and hammer pants and cold murking some chumps with her machine pistols. I don't think I had much of a backstory for her, except that her sidekick was a robot dog named -- you guessed it -- Woofer.

New custom paper mache sculpture! Not my design; it's based on pics of a vintage-y Halloween decoration the client provided. It was a neat challenge; this is the most realistic human face I've ever made, and the painting/coloring style is very different than what I usually do. It's 13" tall.

A large sculpture of a devil head sitting at a three-quarter view; the face is a fairly realistic man's face with dark yellow eyes, it's got small red horns and a red skull cap, pointy ears and teeth, blotchy red cheeks and nose, and black eyebrows, mustache, and a beard that's just two small points.
