Gentle reminder that it's always ok to say to an artist you asked for commission their price are in fact out of range for YOU. But please don't ghost or tell them it's too pricey, even worse harrass or belittle them, art is a luxury and most of us are in fact underselling ourselves.

CSP being pressed to take even just /kissing/ off their asset store and FA being told that plus sized characters are considered adult should be a giant waving red flag to folks. Sex workers have /always/ been right to say these policies never stop with 1 type of content. They always wanna ban more.

question when it comes to ppl scanning and making PDFs of their sketchbooks; do ppl prefer commentary or notes to go with the pages, or just all the art as is with no added context?

A screenshot of a paragraph with the following text; I sometimes add, "You are free to judge that I am a jerk or a mean person, but please separate me from the person who lives rent-free in your head first. At least decide I am a bozo for my own merits."

Eniko Fox
@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place

OH. right! i get it now!

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes

💾Stream Hiatus until (at min.) November💾 I've probably been noticeably exhausted for a while now, and I've gotten to the point where I dread streams because I'll "under perform" compared to earlier this year. So, I've made a really hard call to just stop streaming for a bit. Please bear with me.

An announcement of a mental health hiatus from streams. The announcement reads as follows;

"Hey folks, I'm embarrassed about this but I'm going on a stream hiatus until at minimum November. Anyone who's been a regular on stream this year is aware that I've been working a lot of overtime and doing crunch that has been chipping me down. On top of that I've been dealing with mental health struggles that are not getting any lighter - to summarize I'm currently in therapy for a condition I've been ignoring my whole life which last year became unignorable.

These things, plus various other subpoints, have left me exhausted, depressed, and apprehensive of social settings. I don't feel good enough to be public facing or performing, in essence. I worry it's really obvious how worn down I am and it makes it hard to be around others.

So, I won't be streaming for a couple months. This gives me time to get through work crunch and just sorta exist. I'll be doing art and things as much as I can.

TLDR: I'm tired and mentally ill lmao

• Streams are paused
• Shorts until backlog is empty
• Art & Ko-fi as normal"

accidental one year later doodle of hemlocks sister

A waist up doodle of a yuan-ti woman with tan skin, brown hair, and multi color scales speckled across her face like freckles. There are two versions of the same doodle; one that features her with her more nature curly hair and another where her hair is straightened and she's wearing eye makeup. She stands with one arm up, a finger tapping against her cheek while her other arm is propping the first up.
