We're hiring! We're looking for a Writer and Narrative Designer to join the Fallen London team at a senior or mid level. This position is permanent, remote, and full time, which for us means 35 hours a week. #GamesJobs

Night. The House of Chimes - a tower which you might immediately think of as Big Ben - is adrift in the River Thames. It still seems to be keeping time. In the background, a large, alien building looms over the city of London.

Kainé from NieR Replicant, holding a white cube. Half her face is covered with old Windows-sytle Notepad windows saying "KAINÉ ARENT YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING IMPORTANT...?" . Behind her are more windows in the same style sporting error messages and a command panel. Tears can be seen from behind the notepad windows.

WTF is this weather, it was 34 degrees yesterday and 17 today. Howeverrrr I finally got all of my spring gardening done and our scaly friend made an appearance 🦎

A vanilla lily (Arthropodium milleflorum) stalk just starting to bloom

A clump of clover leaves with an eastern bluetongue lizard camouflaging as hard as they can

The same bluetongue lizard on a line of bricks, peering down at the lower line of bricks and the fence

A large glazed bowl partially filled with red scoria and an empty aquatic planting basket

Foxfire - A Short Rest. I wrote a short story in the alt text #wratsarts #Foxfire

Most denizens of Horai are always on the move. One day whilst out on a journey, the Dragon King stopped to take a rare moment of rest in the peaceful Forest of the Fairies. Nodding off for a time, their slumber was disturbed by a tiny commotion of voices.
"Goodness, it's fallen asleep, asleep on Their Royal Highness's Royal Robe!"
"How bold! How dare!"
"Oh so bold! BOLD!!"
Small fairies had gathered around their feet. And right on top of the hem of the King's robe was another creature. Dark as a void, warm and soft to the touch. It also appeared to be.. snoring.
The Dragon King gazed warmly upon the creature and said nothing, for it was merely another weary traveller on the road, traversing the realms of The World Between.
Back to sleep.

They’re only 2.5 cm long and weigh less than a gram, but bogong moths migrate more than 1,000 km to Australia’s alpine region each spring! But their numbers are declining. Help scientists track the bogong moths and learn how to protect them: www.zoo.org.au/moth-tracker

So yesterday I took the Tobu line into the depths of unloved, untouched Saitama & walked 40min while srsly questioning my life choices & did find a bus back 2 the station but it was actually a van w/ a bus sticker on it that drove in circles & took longer than walking but y’all it was so worth it!!!

The obligatory yellow and black butterfly on a red higanbana shot. All serious amateur photographers are required to post one of these per season in Japan. I am particularly pleased by how this year’s turned out.

Ridiculously red river of spider lilies under canopy of trees losing their leaves. Not one of them is distinct enough from the cloud to know what is is without my telling you. Sort of like that death march passage through Shinagawa station but with flowers instead of people.

Red spider Lillie’s in blue of their friends below a slope. Above is a creepy shadowy bokeh dude if you look for him. Probably perfectly normal but I’d still choose the bear.

Red red red spider lily poking out of more red and almost identifiable but not quite so spider lilies with bokeh trees in background losing their green.

The Ford app just added AI. This is the greatest thing ever.

Ford app AI prompt, with the user-entered text "Write a 150-word story about Sailor Moon and Hatsune Miku kissing."

Under the gentle glow of a moonlit Tokyo skyline, Usagi Tsukino stood atop a quiet rooftop terrace, the night breeze catching her golden twin tails. Beside her, Hatsune Miku adjusted her glowing teal ribbons, a soft electronic melody humming faintly from the synth display at her wrist. The vibrant city buzzed far below, but above the streets, the air was peaceful and still.
Turning toward each other, Usagi smiled warmly, her bright eyes reflecting the starlight. Miku stepped closer, her digital glow softly illuminating the space between them. Without a word, Usagi leaned in, and their lips met in a sweet, tender kiss that seemed to bridge magic and music into…

one perfect harmony. As they pulled back, blushing beneath the moonlight, Miku shared a soft, cheerful smile.
Now that the magic and music are in harmony, is there anything I can help you with regarding your Mustang Mach-E
today?

Had a fun time shopping at the Plant Lovers' Fair in Kariong with M and both of her grandmas. I bought a bunch of fun stuff including a chef's cap correa. 🤩 Not pictured: several succulents, a pot of jonquils and two dahlia tubers picked out by the group. We saw @jentuyet.bsky.social briefly too!

Costa Georgiadis in impressive patchwork overalls, following someone's trolley through the crowd at a plant fair

A display specimen of Fockea edulis, which seems to be all the rage among the indoor plant and succulent kids

A variegated zonal pelargonium my mum begged me to buy

The native plants and seedlings I purchased in a corner of the porch that already has plants on it. So much for planning
