BART Police is actively investigating a shooting that occurred on the BART to Antioch transfer platform in Pittsburg. There is no train service between North Concord and Antioch but bus bridges have been established.

Did you know trains used to run on the Bay Bridge? Bob Simon of the Western Railway Museum showed us one of their old bridge units. The Key System ran the trains until 1958 when car lanes replaced tracks on the bridge. Trains wouldn't connect the Bay again until the Transbay Tube opened in 1974.

Thanks to everyone who made it to Let’s Glow! BART Anime Fest. The day of Let’s Glow was BART’s 2nd highest ridership Saturday since the pandemic with 154,593 trips! Warm Springs/South Fremont Station had more than 4x its usual Saturday ridership.

Big news! Yesterday was BART's highest ridership day since the pandemic! We carried 242,090 trips Tuesday, the first day of Dreamforce as well as All Aboard Transit Day, the day when transit agencies encourage people to ride and experience recent service and customer experience improvements.
