I probably won’t be able to stream for the next few days as tomorrow I gotta prep for my first day on Monday. Going all in on Donations, esp since my first paycheck will be delayed to the week after (it’ll be weekly going forward) ko-fi.com/riesonomura #mutualaid #maboost #helpsky

Gardening is a great way to spend time outside, surround yourself with dirt and vegetation, and become sworn enemies with plants that you never so much as knew the name of before. Just as nature intended.

Hi loves. This is important. I understand the sentiment & importance of cancelling subs on Twitch. Voting with your wallet Many of my friends are full-time streamers & that is their only source of income. Please consider moving support to other platforms like ko-fi. This could ruin lives.

Heads up~ It's now live: Twitch has turned on using stream content for generative AI training. 🗑️🤮 The setting is ENABLED BY DEFAULT. Turn it off at the bottom of the security page: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec... (Does not show up on mobile; must use a desktop browser) I hate this timeline. 😮‍💨

A setting in Twitch's Security Settings to Disable Generative AI training reads:

Training for Generative AI

Allow your channel content to train generative AI content models at Amazon. Turning this off does not opt you out of Twitch and Amazon using your channel content for other purposes described in the Twitch Privacy Notice, including using AI-supported Twitch features that benefit the community by facilitating streamer growth and monetization (such as real-time sponsorship campaign assistance), viewer discovery (such as recommendations), and community safety (such as AutoMod). Even if you don't stream, go turn this off. While it says "channel content" which implies streams, it'll likely be trying to capture your chat messages too. Don't think this doesn't affect you cause you don't stream. Turn it off. And check regularly to make sure it stays off.

so good news: MY SSD IS SOMEHOW SAVED AFTER TRANSFERRING IT TO THE NEW MOTHERBOARD. HALLELUJAH. could at bare minimum use help recouping the cost tho; roughly $160, plus more to help me while unemployed. still getting rejected, waiting on the results of another interview.

urgent update! ugh, this is the worst month... ko-fi.com/riesonomura #mutualaid #maboost #helpsky #helpfolkslive2026

welp... bad went to worse.

first I got rejected from the job I interviewed for, and now...the power supply is fine. but the motherboard, I had to pay $162 to replace, fate of CPU is unknown. and the SSD...isn't being read from. idk if it's recoverable or not but if it is, recovery will cost at LEAST $300. i need you guys' help big time... i HATE to have to ask, but...

https://ko-fi.com/riesonomura may also need to buy a replacement SSD. but, lesson learned. UNPLUG the pc when it's lightning like this....

Shower thought that will keep me up if I don't say it: InuYasha is a shoujo isekai retelling/inspired by of Journey to the West. Connecting Miroku to the character of the lecherous pig that made it click. It's not exactly the same, but-- It's a group quest to collect sacred items (jewel shards).

I'm f2p on Magia Exedra and failed to get the Christmas Kyoko unit after grinding 130 pulls. They just released another themed unit... I got 20 pulls in before I ran out of gems again. Went back to the grind. Decided to be impatient and do some single pulls. Pull number 21:

I've spent the last hour looking for something I swear I'd seen recently, meaning one of two things: 1. It is six inches away from the second most obvious place I looked. I somehow didn't see it. 2. "Recently" is actually several months ago. Something reminded me of it and that was the "sighting."

Democratizing the arts looks like universal income, low-barrier grants for both emerging and working artists, well-funded municipal arts & recreation programs, vibrant third spaces, and a well-funded public school system with progressive curriculum. Not a free pass for corporate-owned slop engines.
