Galleon: Princess Liyu🐲👸🦢 -- Working on the Galleon Webcomic today so i thought I'd share some promotional from 2015 featuring Princess Liyu of the Morholt Crew! You can read my furry fantasy WebComic at: ✨ arkworldgalleon.com ✨ #comicart #mangaart #blerdsky #創作キャラ #同人誌 #furryart #webcomic

Hey there crew! Minor life update ^^
Over the last two weeks I have been working hard on this piece for an art book called White Cloud Worlds.

Its been a while since i took a piece up to print quality, but i think it was worth it to have one of my better pices sitting next to Greg Broadmore and Mike Mignola. Im intimidated but quite excited to be in this book! you can see more about it here ^^ http://www.whitecloudworlds.com

Other than that we nominally had our first Comicon NZ. Really it was just the same trade show we always have ^^; but the artist ally is always good fun, and filled with original works! Baby went through and had a blast with all the people in costume ^^ she got so excited laughing and running through the con that she she tuckered her self out almost instantly and fell asleep XD

Finally got the website back up after years, you can see it here. My webcomic> http://www.arkworldgalleon.com

More Galleon, more Puppy love game, more commissions and the lot! And hopefully if i can keep making enough to pay the rent, ill be able to keep making art for all my awesome watchers, friends, fans and sempais here. *snoogles*

Any way, let me know what you think of the remastered version!
Nai~

I wish at least one happy surprise for those who like me find themselves wishing for the same impossible things. Christmas and the holiday season can be hard, so ive drawn a young girl in copics and pencil wishing as i often do for a things i know are impossible.

Even so, i wish to be grateful for what i do have.⭐

Steal like an artist -p36🥷💎✨ By Austin Kleon — This passage from my third favourite book on art sums up my feelings on AI art well. #artistlife #art

What to copy is a little bit trickier. Don’t just steal the style, steal the thinking behind the style. You don’t want to look like your heroes, you want to see like your heroes.

The reason to copy your heroes and their style is so that you might somehow get a glimpse into their minds. That’s what you really want — to internalize their way of looking at the world. If you just mimic the surface of somebody’s work without understanding where they are coming from, your work will never be anything more than a knockoff.

Basically nothing matters until you can finish a comic. Doesn't have to be long but I talk to so many people who ask how they can pitch to a publisher and I'm sorry but the abstract idea isn't important. Publishers only want to know if you can do a beginning, middle and end and get it done on time.
