I’ve read Grimwood three times but listening to the audio version read by Adam Buxton is a whole other experience. I highly recommend. @nadiashireen.bsky.social

I have been reading Sputnik by @frankcottrellboyce.bsky.social and @stevenlenton.bsky.social to my Year 5 Swordfish class. They loved it. The children’s reactions when Grandad could see Sputnik (top of page) were priceless. At the end they said “can we read another book just like that?”

Phil Tite @philtite.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

I’ve just had these incredible books donated to my classroom. We’ve already read Cosmic as a class and are currently reading Sputnik together. These books are going to fly off the shelves. @frankcottrellboyce.bsky.social @stevenlenton.bsky.social

My last read of 2024 was The Worlds We Leave Behind by @afharrold.com with illustrations from Levi Pinfold. As good as I was expecting. A.F. Harrold always writes with such control, creating an atmospheric world where you’re never quite sure what is coming next.

Phil Tite @philtite.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

I bought my class, 2T, poems on a postcard from @afharrold.com as a Christmas present. A postcard a week, every week for the next term. And the first one arrived today! We were so excited. Link below if you want to do the same thing.
