FYI: One of Tara's cats, Peggy, was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. That diagnosis was expensive. She's now going to be in palliative care for the next few weeks. Tara could use a hand.

That is, of course, easy to say now that I’m on the other side of getting hired and acclimated. Seeing “signs” is usually human emotional reasoning disguised as rationalizing; it could just as easily be bad luck. Only you can make the call.

Fwiw - I had that experience with a job this year - got laid off in April, but I’ve now started a new one at a company that treats the employees better, has a much better environment, a better scheduling balance… Maybe it’s more of a sign to move on to something better?
