This time last year my brother was still alive. I could have given him a call. I didn't though as how could I have known that in a few days from then he would die a horrific death trying to save his son. I will regret not speaking to him more until the day I die.

My nephew is with us for a week. He loves to hug people, but only once he has decided you are one of his people. Last time he was here for the week I got one hug. I have already had several in the last 24 hours. Life is not all bad. These moments are beautiful.

I really didn't need Fire Safety discourse today. Do you know what flashover means? In short, it gets so hot that everything that can catch fire does so. Happens around 600°C How do I know this? This is what killed my brother and nephew. Fire safety is not an inconvenience, it's life and death.
