Kelp forests used to be abundant in Sussex-in the early 1980s dense kelp forests were prolific in Sussex waters. By 2019 only 4% of kelp forests remained, destroyed by trawling (and the great storm of 1987). SKRP works to recover our lost kelp forests and marine habitats. 📸David Nicholls of Worthing
