At least the block function here works as it should... But yeah, some people should really take a critical look at what (sometimes also how) they write and what their texts actually imply.

Hi friends ❤️ Due to a payroll delay, I won’t receive my first paycheck until October 31, despite already teaching for four weeks. I’m trying to raise $500 to help cover expenses until then. If you can give a few dollars or share this post, I’d really appreciate it. ko-fi.com/joeltillman

Maybe we can stop pretending AI is useful for student learning “if used properly” and start focusing attention and energy on mitigating its massive educational harm? Call me crazy.

In the Dutch standard (with the noted exception of speakers from Frisia, Groningen, and other northern parts), the "-n" is dropped in any word ending in "-en" with the preceding "-e-" pronounced as schwa.

When it comes to Black people/ Africans and AI... Major tech companies have been paying Africans slave wages to do the traumatizing, digital grunt work of cleaning up AI models for use in the West. Meanwhile, people in the West use AI to destroy African/Black writers' reputations. NASTY WORK.

Not only do "artificial" and 「人工」 mean the exact same thing, they even share the same etymological roots, with the latter having entered the modern Chinese vocabulary via Meiji-era Japanese translations of European-language texts. Good to see that linguistic phrenology is alive and kicking, though.
