I know I say stuff like this all the time, but in terms of raw score, the difference between a poor round and personal best is really just luck. Tied my home course pb of -3 today. Yesterday I was even on the "easier" layout. Similar play quality. The difference? *Several* lucky breaks. #discgolf

Lot of spite out there today. Lot of near-perfect shots ended up garbage. Did almost ace #2 tho - hit chains squarely but bounced out. In typical fashion, ended w/ a birdogey as my 20' putt bricked off the basket and rolled to 50' (#18 has done this to me more times than i can count). #discgolf

Related: I used to do d% random encounters for transition scenes (travel, etc) because it felt more "realistic" for there to be a chance of an "issue" during the transition. Now I keep a couple specificly in mind & make calls on whether they happen based purely on session pacing. #ttrpgs #dnd

Replaced the purge valve and broken radio in my car this evening. Both of these are easy jobs made *way* more complicated by the amount of stuff you have to remove and/or maneuver around just to get to the stuff you need. But hopefully, no more check-engine light and also, audio.

Great #dnd session last weekend. PC's are currently trapped in Hades, and the "otherness" of the outer planes is always fun to explore. They mostly sidestepped the only real combat encounter, but the ghostly petitioners and the despondent townsfolk of Death of Innocence were very dramatic. #ttrpgs

Here’s the most incredible story you’ll read today. A small plane with four people aboard crashes in a field. Another pilot witnesses it. That pilot happens to be flying a bunch of skydivers. They offer to jump to assist, are given permission. The skydivers happen to be EMTs. Everyone survives.

Based on recent conversations, my daughter's conception of "dad music" is pretty bizarre. If I've played it, it's "dad music" - a predictable teenaged perspective. However, it has filed some pretty odd groups into this category. Mountain Goats - sure. Honey Revenge - really? #music #parenting
